Anyone on this thing know of an acceptable place to get a change of clothes? And before you offer up sub-par recommendations, I mean, quality clothes. Nothing off brand. And nothing that screams small town American Wal-Mart if you even understand what that means.

( Outlets... he won't be a chooser, as he is a beggar. And outlets at least have brands. Months after a line comes out. But, again. Beggars.

This place has the buildings going for it, why not actual style that matches. A nice suit. Silk shirt. Something?
)

Extra points to anyone who can pronounce or spell any of these bargain basement Game of Thrones knockoff names. Aaeven-whatever.

Oh. And, witches. What do you like about being a witch? Any tips you want to give? Tips I should ignore. What's a do and what's a don't? How regulated are they?

Monsters. Let's talk bonds.

That's certainly a direct approach to bonding.

[Amused tone doesn't really come across in text, does it?]

Not sure what you mean by 'off brand', but the only clothes you're going to find is what's sold in the stores around here. You might want to try Precogstitchin if you want something fancy.

[This comes from someone who isn't aware clothes have a brand and whose concept of fancy clothing is probably a little lacking.]

As for being a witch, the best advice I can give is that you take some of the basic introduction courses at the Coven. It'll help you get the hang of using your magic before you attempt to learn spells from any of the different classes of magic.

The courses will also help you find out how to channel your spells. It's different so everyone. Some use vocal spells, other hand gestures, and so on.

You could probably get away without making an attempt at all. They should know what their shop is called.

A bit of both. As far as I know there aren't any limits on how you choose to channel your magic. There just tends to be a way that feels more natural when you try it.

No problem.

If you go to Thread Up and ask for Caren, she's very helpful.

What about bonds do you want to talk?

I'd recommend getting familiar with the kind of fabrics you want and how much they cost per length because the best quality is tailored and if you know your ball-park figures then you can plan your work life accordingly.

For witches. For monsters, it's different and this persistent fucking irritability would probably be better if I had a bond but I haven't exploded and it's been months. I don't like not having a bond but I don't think I'm a walking hand grenade.

Probably, but I'd figure out which cost is higher before you commit. If you want clothes cut the way you like, the labor costs might actually be more than the fabric. I would look into it and figure out the most cost effective division.

[She's from somewhere along the lines of the 800s or the 1920s what is this?]

Just look around the shopping district. Half the places enchant the clothes anyway.

Things that prevent the fabric from fraying or colours from washing out. But I've seen things that are resistant to fire as well. Those are more expensive.

Though most clothes have to be adjusted.
