[In the background, there's the sound of a record playing cheerful music. ]
Hi everyone! I'm Elliot, it's nice to meet you all even if this isn't where you wanna be right now. Sorry about that. I teach music and I'm a healer with Coven infirmary training. So if you need either of those things, just lemme know!
Anyway, um, I had a question. What's music like where you're from? Or what kind of music do you like? There's so many people from different places, I feel like I'm always finding out something new and I'd like to learn as much as I can.
Oh- I'll start. I'm from Erebonia and we have a lot of classical music - stuff with lutes, violins, piano, etc. Operas are pretty popular too, though in the last few years Northern rock - or I guess just rock, has been spreading! Oh, and radio's really big. I still miss listening to my favorite radio show honestly...
S-Sorry, didn't mean to ramble. What about you guys?

Re: text > voice
[Mikasa in a big poofy dress? Too weird to imagine]
Well no, you don't! No one has to be an expert to have fun. Buuut, being coordinated enough not to trip and hurt yourself definitely helps.

...Oh. You think that wouldn't suit me either...
[Just give her a moment to dwell on that. Mettaton and Tataru had said it was fine but he didn't, like Historia hadn't.]
But don't you have to be coordinated for music?
no subject
U-Uh, yeah- but I don't really know anything about girl's fashion anyway, so don't take my word! You should try whatever you want to try on!
[BE FREE]
Only with your fingers and breathing! Only leg movement I have to do is foot tapping.

But doesn't that mean you can learn?
no subject
Believe me...attempts have been made.

[It was almost deadpan. Almost, only the smallest bit lighter than complete deadpan.
She's teasing. ]

I just can't say it'd be good...or you wouldn't get your toes stepped on.

[That's not dancing, that's swinging him around.]

What is ballets?
no subject
People tell a story through the dance. I hear it's really difficult, to the point that some ballerinas work until their feet bleed.
no subject
But isn't dance supposed to be...fun?
[Please ignore the voice hitch at the last word. Like she doesn't really get what it means.]
no subject
But it's also an art. And ballerinas take their art very seriously.
Don't worry, most people don't dance until their feet bleed.

Like the entertainers here? Like Mettaton?
[Dramatic 24/7, there was no off. That was just how into the art he was.]

Consider it this way - art, music and dance can all be really fun hobbies. But if you want to make a profession out of it, you have to commit yourself to it on a whole other level.

I think I'll keep sewing as my most artistic hobby...I don't think I could put enough effort into something new.
