anyone know how turning into a monster will affect body modifications? or how the modifications might affect turning into a monster?

I would say that it depends on the modification and the flavour of monster.

I've seen magic healing push old injuries out of the body, like a splinter working its way out.

Internal. Metal bones and cybernetics.

Not sure on the type of monster just yet.

[ For all she knows, the mismatch of animal features that are starting are actually one animal. ]

I knew a man once, lost a leg and had it regrown through god's magic.

He was laid up for a good long while and it pushed out the pins he'd had in the stump. Best we could do for him was to keep him drugged during the worst.

[ A pause. ]

If you find yourself in the same situation, let me know? I can probably pull together something to help.

Like drugs to get me through it, I'm assuming?

[ She sighs. ]

Having metal melt off my bones would... suck. To put it mildly.

There's a few things that could work, but I'd need to talk to the locals first. Just because I know what it does in my world doesn't mean it's the same thing here and I'd hate to poison someone.

Might melt. Might push up and out through the skin. The magic might just eat it as fuel for the transformation.

I'd hate to be poisoned, so I appreciate that. There's some classes on what flowers here do, though. I can look through my notes.

[ Once she gets past what they mean in ~flower language~ at least. ]

Seeing as I've also got full pieces of metal and wires in there... well. It's already starting to get. Uncomfortable.

You think there'd be a way I could keep them? Make it work?

It's hard to get a repeat customer when they're dead.

If it were always that easy, life would be boring, I guess.

There's something to be said for boring. I'm very good at living a boring life. I whittle little wooden animals! I play a mean game of dice.

I like to lay back and relax with my dog, when I can.

But there's always something that needs to be done. Needs to be taken care of.
