[ Considering how long she's been here now and how... enthusiastic her Coven mentors have been about her finding a Bond, Yona's finally worked up the courage to try and use this strange device for herself and ask for some advice. ]

How did those of you who have made Bonds know that your partner was right for you? Was it just something casual and easy? Was it something deeper than that? Did you have a hard time finding someone when you first arrived?

[ Was that too intrusive? Insecure? She hopes not... ]

And those of you who haven't yet... what is it you're looking for?

I got a monster one. Now I keep being told to get a witch one.

But I don't know many witches that well.

[The one she'd consider already had enough bonds.]

[ She blinks for a moment, wondering why, until she pieces that together. ]

Ahh, are you a monster as well?

Fae

I'd just be me.

[Not monster or witch, just plain human.]

Ahh, I see!

[ ...Although now you've distracted her. ]

I think you're the first Fae I've gotten to meet.

You've not really met me.



Apparently fae are rare, I've only met two others since arriving.

Well, no, I suppose that's true. The first I've spoken to, then. Sort of?

[ Did this count as speaking? ]

Did getting the bond help at all? I know we're encouraged to find one with the opposite of what we are...

It doesn't really matter, these things are strange.

I've not had it long so I can't say. I can sense him, when I get upset he knows.

[As opposide to her sitting alone, there's no hiding.]

Is that a thing you like from it?

[ She's not sure how she would feel about that, either. BUt it sounds a little...comforting? ]

It's strange. I'd rather not need it at all.

But it makes it easier when I'm not sure what to say.

[When you're too emotionally consitpated to admit you have an issue.]

I can see that. There are times when words fail to express what you need to. Having someone who can understand them all the same... that sounds wonderful.

I'm not good with words. It's still strange though.

If it helps I've recently heard the Coven offer temporary bond potions. Though they'll press you to get a bond instead, they'd rather give you a potion that risk you having nothing.

I've heard of this, as well. It's certainly useful, if you're venturing into a bond you're not quite certain about yet. I may have to give it a try.

I take it you hadn't known about those either, before?

I didn't know till after I'd gotten one. Though I'd probably still be able to talk them into giving me a potion because I'm bonded to another monster.

Just remember the potions are weaker than an actual bond, you won't feel much through it like if they're lying unless they felt very strongly.
