[ Considering how long she's been here now and how... enthusiastic her Coven mentors have been about her finding a Bond, Yona's finally worked up the courage to try and use this strange device for herself and ask for some advice. ]

How did those of you who have made Bonds know that your partner was right for you? Was it just something casual and easy? Was it something deeper than that? Did you have a hard time finding someone when you first arrived?

[ Was that too intrusive? Insecure? She hopes not... ]

And those of you who haven't yet... what is it you're looking for?

i just asked a guy i knew was a witch and had talked to a few times. figured if it sucked i'd just go back and cancel it.

not a lot more thought put into it, and we're still bonded like 10 months later

I'm glad you found someone your bond worked with. I suppose I must sound a little silly in this case, worrying about it like this...

i mean, i get it. people don't want other people to feel their feelings and they dont wanna feel someone elses. it sounded like hell when i first got here.

but losing it and hurting people sounded worse. so i just picked someone, asked, and went for it.

I'm not so worried about that. If it's someone I trust, I don't think I'd mind sharing those things at all. But I guess... It's not so easy for me to know who that might be so quickly.

me and louis didn't trust each other. we just figured itd keep us sane and alive. the rest came later.

So your friendship came after the bond, not the other way around?

pretty much, yeah.

like we'd had a few conversations and joked a bit but i didn't know a damn thing about him other than he was a deer, a witch, and seemed sane enough.

But you've become closer since then?

yeah. he's.... probably my best friend.
