[ Considering how long she's been here now and how... enthusiastic her Coven mentors have been about her finding a Bond, Yona's finally worked up the courage to try and use this strange device for herself and ask for some advice. ]

How did those of you who have made Bonds know that your partner was right for you? Was it just something casual and easy? Was it something deeper than that? Did you have a hard time finding someone when you first arrived?

[ Was that too intrusive? Insecure? She hopes not... ]

And those of you who haven't yet... what is it you're looking for?

See? You already have some preferences of your own. One of the things you can use to understand if a potential partner's right for you.

...As I'm assuming you've authored this post because you're on the hunt for a Bond, but have no clue where to start. You should start with what you demand in a Bond. Do you need someone with a similar personality, or someone your opposite? Will you only Bond with Witches or Monsters? Do you prefer someone who won't pry into your feelings, or would you rather keep your hearts open? What are your thoughts, beautiful?

If that's all things you've learned since making your post... You've learned a lot! Actually... We're not so dissimilar in our demands, you and I.

[He doesn't even need to give his Secret Short List anymore, since she almost nailed it. Not explicitly, since it lacks the "I can't trust just anyone to know my history" qualifier...]

However. It took me six months to find a suitable Bondmate. I don't recommend it. Given that, I hope finding someone you can trust yourself to isn't too specialized a case! Ha-ha. You don't anticipate it to be so difficult, do you?

Fabulous! The very moment you think you've found someone, don't hesitate! If they meet your demands... you'll know. I knew mine for only a few hours, prior to finding ourselves walking the aisle... Hahaha...

[it's not marriage, mettaton.]

[He doesn't register that she doesn't catch the reference, just that she might be startled about marriage... And that's fine...]

It's a vast room where ceremonies take place at the Coven, darling. Of COURSE there's an aisle! What sort of wedding would it be without one??? It is, after all... a marriage of the souls.

Your surprise delights me. Yes!! The Bonding process quite literally ties the knot of the couple's magical signatures... In other words, their souls! How intimate... Yes. Thus, "a marriage of the souls."

[Marriage divorce... Bond divorce... Both perfectly endable arrangements.]

Yes. Of course you can end it, darling! That's why, even if you've only just met the person, if you feel it in your heart... There's scarcely a risk to Bonding. I've even heard of some taking temporary Bonds, to start... Though, regular Bonds can be annulled, too.

That way, you can find the one you want to keep. How romantic...
