[ It was an... honest attempt to be professional. To be queenly. In the farmlands away from Aefenglom, in a dimly lit bedroom that looked as if it had seen better days, Daenerys is visible independently from a "selfie" style of video. She's propped her device up and sits in a small lounge chair next to the window to catch the light outside – what's left of it as a large stormcloud begins to overtake the farmlands. ]

Forgive me, it has been some time since I have come to such network to seek aid. [ The last time didn't work out too well! ] Recently, many of us on the Mirrorbound Council had begun to propose an initiative to improve the quality of life in the Outer City, where the residents are most vulnerable. It seemed, unfortunately, such actions were not... supported by the Parliament. Many of us have made efforts to improve the lives of those there, but we are still but strangers here – still under a wheel not our own.

[ There's an underlining bitterness there. ]

I am asking for help to take this mission on without the need of Parliament growing involved, then. We would like to begin cleaning the area up and treat those who have early stages of the Cwyld infection. The farmlands I have partial ownership of has diverted crop shipments from the city guard to the poorest and hungriest citizens, but that simply will not be enough.

[ Or, wise. ]

Fishermen, hunters, medics, builders – if we are able to begin putting clinics in more accessible areas for early-stage treatments... we could improve the quality of life for those suffering and stop the risk of spreading further. It is dangerous and time-consuming, I know... but –

[ Daenerys flinches, a washing view of disappointment on her face. Guilt clear. ]

We can not rely on Parliament to assist us there. Their efforts are strained between so many aspects of their city and I wish to take this responsibility on if possible. If anyone has skills to better help with this, please... I will be in your debt for your assistance.

I see. [ Perhaps it was for the better. Daenerys had begun to realize how strong the pull of the moon was and needed her Bonds to set her straight. She could only imagine. She wonders – does Percy, a witch, feel similarly with no monster to his Bond? Dany stews for a moment then returns to the present. ] You needn't find concern for when you are unable to assist, then.

Even so, I'll be glad to help when I can. It'll give me something to do besides hunting down Shades or trailing other dangerous sorts about.

I can only imagine how tiring hunting must be... [ Her knight especially takes on such responsibilities. ] And if not hunting, where would your specialties and interests lie?

[crowsfeat]

Worry not for my endurance, Councilwoman, for a Hunter always is a Hunter, even in a world like this. It is my calling, like it or not, and I take to it as well as most take to breathing.

[ But it was hard to miss the lack of any particular... joy, in how she described it. ]

It's all I've known for most of my life now. Any other skills I've picked up have been in service of it.

[ She almost wishes to argue. Even if she can appreciate the cause of the stranger, she knows she grows tired of war yet she brings war to the doors of every slaver she has ever encountered. She is not fond of it, but it is a necessity. Is hunting the same? ]

Then... whatever you can offer, be it words or action, is needed to make change. Every single one of may hold a role here.

[crowsfeat]

Change is the concern of politicians and social movers, Councilwoman. [ Not that she was dismissive of the concept, more dismissive of her ability to play a significant role within it. ]

But you'll have my aid where it can be had. For better or worse, this is my home for the moment. I'd like to keep those within it safe.

[freeing]

Change should be the concern for every person. [ It is not a fight just for the few who move the pieces. ] You have a right to it, same as I. Same as them.

[ Her words were empathetic, a soft sadness to them. ]

We are all left fighting a war we did not ask to, but... you are right. For now, this may be the only home some know.

[crowsfeat]

[ A hum. And a moment of silence afterwards. ]

"For now" only for some, Councilwoman. Only for some.
