[Some people might recognise the voice, some might even remember her making enquires about monsters and recommendations for good books in the library. Or not, it'd been slow progress for the fae. Because she'd found that...books were so, so dry. They made her want to sleep. So she'd been surprised to find a book that she could get through. It's information though-]

Is it true that really powerful vampires have diamond-like skin that reflects sunlight back instead of being burnt by it?

I haven't heard of any, but. Maybe. There's some rock monster who's become a vampire?

It did say it was older vampires.

Are there rock monsters? I've not seen any. Though it does say humans can be...[Pages flipping.] Sired into vampires.

I haven't seen any here... But there's rock monsters back home! Maybe one will turn up someday.

Although. I guess they wouldn't be older vampires.

I don't think there would be any older vampires around. Not that would be willing to talk...I know that even the older fae aren't from that long ago if you think about it.

I've spoken to some local ones. They don't remember their history...Either it's deliberately not been shared between them or it's a really long time ago.

And all the ones I've spoken to had a stick that far up their ass about their lineage. So I don't think they'd shut up if they knew anything.

And there aren't any older fae in Dorchacht, or the Deep Underground, either...?

Dorchacht...I've not spoken to any there, or spent much time there. But the ones underground weren't that old.

Wow. And here I was thinking, we were the biggest conspiracy. Maybe we're just the most recent one... Or, the most recent part of one.

[He has no guesses how amnesiac fae would connect to people brought from another world with all their memories... But maybe he simply doesn't remember how they're connected. HMMM.]

I'm not sure... We'll need to do more digging. And probably not mention it on here...

At least that city is underground...I didn't have a full look around the tunnels, but something about that place...I'll go back once the weather calms down out there.

Some people from home arrived this month and [She was dealing with a lot of relationship drama.] and it's going to be the hottest month in the city. So it'll probably be too cold for me in the Wilde.

Of course I will! Heat and cold, they don't affect me too much.

[They do a little bit, but the differences in physiology really give skeletons an edge in this.]
