Is it true that really powerful vampires have diamond-like skin that reflects sunlight back instead of being burnt by it?

They usually do that to attract a mate.
In the case of sparkling undead, it's less a specific defensive tactic and more.. how would you react if something started shimmering when you didn't expect it to?

I guess that makes sense though. If it only happens for strong vampires when they go into sunlight. [Why did it actually sound legit?]
