[Some people might recognise the voice, some might even remember her making enquires about monsters and recommendations for good books in the library. Or not, it'd been slow progress for the fae. Because she'd found that...books were so, so dry. They made her want to sleep. So she'd been surprised to find a book that she could get through. It's information though-]

Is it true that really powerful vampires have diamond-like skin that reflects sunlight back instead of being burnt by it?

That's gotta hurt ... [ A grimace. He's at least happy to hear that it was just an accident and there's no need for him to be worried about anyone trying to harm Mikasa. ]

I've been trying to learn healing, and I'm getting better. You should ring me up when you get in those situations again.

It did... I threw him after... [So technically it worked. But she lifts her head to stare at him for a moment. ]

Healing is a good thing to learn. [She'd mentioned that before, a perk of being a witch instead of a monster. ] I didn't think they'd have you treating cuts so soon... [But she sighs, antenna giving a flick.]

Theres nothing to heal on my back. Is there? [soft and resigned. No injuries, just aching, growing limbs. ]

[ Poor Mikasa sounds so tired. ]

I can do the small cuts, but I'd probably need more practice to close up a wound like that. [ He could try, but he doesn't want to use Mikasa as a guinea pig. Magic can go so wrong when the user is inexperienced. ]

Your back's fine. Is it painful?

[She was tired. So much thinking and planning. Her main skill, while not completely useless here, had taken a big blow. She couldn't handle most metals and other monsters were stronger. Her main output for helping out was gone.

But she wasn't going to mention that. That was her own problem, one she'd clutch close to her chest instead of bothering Jean about it.]

No, it itches. But nothing can be done about that. I was given some ointment from the Coven but it doesn't work through the shell...
