Hey everyone!
First of all, welcome to all the new arrivals! Seems like we had a really big group this time. I'm sorry you got dragged into all of this.
Anyway, my name's Elliot. I'm a musician and a healer. If you're interested in music lessons, I offer private and group lessons for violin, piano, guitar, recorders, harmonica, or singing. It's always a good time to learn, and the first lesson's free! Oh and don't worry if your monster changes might complicate things, we'll find a workaround! Just let me know if you're interested.
Finally, for most of my stay here, I've been studying how to heal Cwyld infections under the Coven's infirmary. I've gotten pretty far...but I can only see so many people. So...I want to offer lessons to teach people what I've learned. I'm only allowed to teach methods that the Coven will approve of me sharing, but they should be effective at healing new or mild infections!
Unfortunately only witches will be able to do the techniques. Not only that, it's pretty tough stuff to learn and if it goes wrong it can lead permanent damage. So anyone who wants to learn will have to prove they're capable with alchemy and enchantments first. Sorry.
Anyway...let me know if you're interested, I guess.
[OOC: Sign ups for music lessons can be found here. Most lessons will be handwaved unless you want to hatch out a specific thread]

I'm interested in learning the Cwyld healing methods, but how much experience are you looking for with Alchemy and Enchantment?
They're not my major areas, and while I'd be willing to train up for something like this since I'm guessing you want more than just "I'm capable in one or two spells in this class", it'd be good to know how long that might take me
[Momo's dabbled a bit in all areas, but beyond Illusion he went for standard healing classes as focuses first, which means he's largely Abjuration and now Evocation besides that.]

I'd say enough experience where you have a good enough grasp of the basic principles of alchemy and enchantments to be able to create typical potions and runes without any trouble.
[um]
Like think of that skill level musicians reach when they can start playing songs comfortably enough without needing their eyes glued to the sheet music the whole time. That level but for alchemy and enchantments.

[While he loves music and already knows the guitar, it's something he'd rather spend his own time on and the healing classes seem way more important. But totally gonna file that away too.]

Though before that, is that your real name, Disconinjafrog, or...?
[He doesn't want to be rude because there are many odd names in this place, but...that is definitely a new one]

As for the healing, I can't learn because I'm not a Witch, but do you think... is there any way someone who is a Monster could learn to assist? Like, as a nurse - bringing supplies or checking up on the patients afterwards, or anything.
I really want to help.
no subject
It's a little hard to describe, but I could give video samples of each of them if that'd help?
As for that...I don't know. I'm not saying there isn't, but the witches at the coven tended to focus on methods for witches. Though ... maybe monsters can learn how to apply pre-made salves or runes? Hmm...
Though it'd also depend on what kind of monster you are, because some are much more sensitive to Cwyld than others. Do you happen to know which kind you are yet?

Okay! If it's alright, I'm going to request you make a few things using alchemy and enchantments. Just to check your skill level.

Still diligently lending your services, I see.

I will literally pay you for lessons if you've got too many people signed up already.
PS let's jam sometime. I can play ukuele and some guitar, and I've been dying to do a duet or smth.☺️☺️☺️

Though if it's alright, I'd like to test your skills for alchemy and enchanting first. Just to make sure you're ready for it.
PS: Oh I'd love that! Do you have something specific in mind?

that said, this isn't a limited-time offer, is it? would you be willing to save me a spot on the list and teach me a thing or two after i get my feet wet a bit more?
do i need to make a down payment? LOL
no subject
Don't worry, it's not a limited time offer. Take your time getting the hang of your magic, and come to me when you're ready.
And it'll be free of charge! It feels a little strange to charge for sharing lifesaving techniques.

I admit, I've not been here very long, so my knowledge about this infection is limited. But while monsters may not have magic, is there any support we can still provide those who are learning to heal?
no subject
I'm looking into it. You need magic to create the runes and salves for sure, but maybe there's a way we can get witches to make it so monsters can use it?

there no way a monster can lend a hand too?
[ As someone who was a healer back home, Hisui was already upset enough to lose access to his artes. Being faced with something like this just feels like whatever powers that dragged him here are rubbing it in. ]
no subject
You need magic to make the enchantments and salves. But maybe there's a way witches can make those things beforehand, and then monsters can apply them as needed?
Though that's still a hypothetical.

Oh no, that's terrible! Which place was it?
I can think of a few places, though I'm still trying to find a really good place like I had back home. What's your price range?

[Or, you know, straight up fire.]
Re: un: vestra
Cwyld feeds on magical energy. So the enchantment makes a rune that acts like a tourniquet that seals off the magic flow to someone's body, and then the infection is starved out.
