Since it looks like we have some new arrivals, welcome to freaky mirror land? I'm Kyo.

So, I was debating with figuring a job or whatever here. I mean, it isn't like we can be sure how long we're going to be stuck here, right? So uh....I was thinking, since I kinda grew up since Shishou took me in, hanging around his dojo and grew up with him teaching me and all, um. That maybe I could look into that here? I mean, I don't think there's any dojos here, but. If I figure a suitable place and all, here. To start my own. A couple of people are interested in lessons or whatever, so. It would be better to have a proper space for it. Outdoors are great and all, but not as ideal depending on the weather and grounds.

I...also know that the moon will be coming up again. Not looking forward to dealing with this more. The tail is enough of a pain. I know Bonds are supposed to help or whatever but I'm still....not sure on that. Any other ways people have figured dealing with this?

[Knowing his luck it would just be the Bonds. But Kyo is....well, kind of prickly and tsun and has a temper, much as he has been improving. That and his self-esteem socially isn't the best given he just expects everyone to treat him like an outcast given his status within the Sohma family. He doesn't expect that anyone would want to get that close to him.]

Eating something that has a little bit of magic in it can help! Like potions, or even enchanted food. It's hard to say what the exact right dosage would be, but if you'd like some I can set something aside for you from the next batch of things I make.

Wait, I just gotta eat something? Really?

Well, don't get me wrong, it's not a permanent solution or anything. But the Coven says anything that would normally enhance will help keep a Monster stable through the moons.

A Witch could also just focus magic into you, but that's a bit risky if they don't know what they're doing.

Even temporary, I'd still take that over figuring someone to bond with, at least for now. The food, I mean.

[And hm. Elliot was a Witch. And that new redhead - Chandra? Chandra, that he had met. But both of them were pretty new so he's not sure if they were skilled enough for that yet.]

You could also probably get a potion from somebody at the Coven! I think they're just as concerned about not letting anyone go feral as we are.

A potion? I guess that's also an option if they can make something that will help.

What's a Shishou?

He's the best! He's the one that took me in, and taught me martial arts!

So if you made a dojo here and taught me in it... you'd be my Shishou?

Er....y-yeah, I guess. It...it just means 'master', like someone who has mastered something and is passing that on? It's a little different from sensei, a teacher.

[Even at this stage, Kyo might not be the most confident necessarily but he can probably at least teach beginners easily enough.]

[Why are there always so many different words that mean the same thing?!]

This place could probably use more Shishous then.

I'd have to see how many people wanted to learn. If it isn't too many I can probably arrange that myself but it depends on the numbers.

[What everyone's skill levels were at. That and juggling however many people's schedules in fitting them in for lessons. It would probably be a good idea to get some help organizing this but Kyo at least has some idea on the basics on what to expect somewhat given he grew up around the dojo with Kazuma back home.]

I think it might have been Minako that asked first, about training. But yeah, I'll be able to teach you, Mary, don't worry. I mean. We live together, so.

[There shouldn't be any issues there. At least with figuring time depending on their schedules of course.]

Minako? [Can you be jealous of someone you've never met? Mary wanted to be number one here!] Is she a witch?

Yeah. I mentioned I used martial arts, my training, to help me keep energized? So it was kind of her that gave me the idea of training others here? She's a witch though, yeah. Why?

[Kyo is a derp and does not see how mentioning her with Mary may cause issues. Not considering the other being jealous of the girl.]

It's weird! A witch wanting to learn to fight without magic.

[Pointlessly nitpicking in order to find faults and rationalize his pouty feelings? That sure is what Mary's doing.]

Maybe she wants to train to try get her strength back up. She said she was kinda sick for a while or something. So I think that was it. And I don't know, maybe she wants an alternative in case something happens to her magic or while she is still learning to use it.

[Kyo doesn't see anything wrong with it. He's just not as used to girls taking such interest, sure, but he isn't going to stop her or stop training her because of it. If she wants to learn.]

...Sick? So she's not very strong?

[If that's the case, maybe it's not so bad. Even if he can't be the number one student, as his strength returns to him, he can at least become the top student!]

She was sick or something at least for a bit, while here, like I said. But she wants to build up her strength and energy again so I suggested training, is all.

[She is probably no Kagura but then. Kagura is kind of a level all of her own.]

[Okay. It's decided. He'll be nice to her because she was sick, just like he used to be. He'll just have to be a better student than her!]

Mmm... Fine. She can be number one. Just don't forget to teach me too.

Alright. Just let me know when you want me to teach you and I can figure the other lessons around that.

Cause I just need to make sure I don't double book or something. I mean, for now until I have a decent set up, it is probably easier to figure smaller sessions, anyway.

Yeah? Great! I still need to look into it a bit and all, but. I figured I hadn't noticed or heard if there were any around already, so. May as well try do something about that.

[He's more used to training and fighting with guys, but. Well. What with Kagura and all he is well aware that girls have potential as well if they went to learn. He isn't going to stop them or anything. In fact, the first one he brought the idea up with was Minako, after all.]

If other people want to help, I won't stop them or anything. If it helps get this up and running sooner. Better than training outdoors. Not that I mind, but some days it is gonna be colder and rain.

If you're willing to help like this, I won't say no. I mean, I might know a little about dojos and stuff but I've never done this before.

[The business side of things. All that is going to be new to him. Because of course back home, Shishou was in charge and all, so he handled that, even if Kyo might step up to help teach some of the kids from time to time.

It wasn't like he really expected that to actually last, back home. But here, for however long he was around, at least. He could try.]
