Do you ever find yourself missing the world you came from before coming here?

I do. As interesting as this world is, not knowing what's happening back home kills me. What do you miss the most about home?

Me? Well...there's a lot actually. The people I've met, the places I've been. Seems like the longer I'm away from it, the more I realize how much they mean to me.

I suppose I could give a few answers to that. I'll always miss my homeland, the taste of the cold sea air, the scent of the moss and green, the chill that comes with the mists...

But even in my world, I am unlikely to experience that place as it was, as I knew it, ever again. Instead, I should speak of my Master, of Chaldea, of the strange family that had formed there...

Aye. I do miss them.

People I do care about here. But this place just made me realize to appreciate what I had before if that makes sense.

Hard to say. My world is ending, literally. Demons crawled out of hell's anus and decided to shit in our breakfast. Death is everywhere, as is sadness, despair, anger, and anxiety. But that meant everyone there was just like me, so less lonely there I suppose. Here, no one seems to really get me.

While I know where I come from is far from perfect, down right nasty at times, I do agree that the people there make it worthwhile.

I do. There's no TV here!!! It's terrible!! It's been a year-long stretch of agony without. My fans back home must be so deprived of me... Cold and alone, they ache for more Mettaton.

However. I'm not in any rush to return to the world I came from, either. Not when this realm could do with more of me... I would only leave emptiness in my wake upon leaving Aefenglom, too!

Of course I do! My home is with my crew and my captain. Being here is just temporary. I'll go back to them when whatever we're supposed to do here has been accomplished.

I'm in two minds about it.

On one hand, I've managed to learn more about who I am, and find myself. I would have never done such back there. I have friendships I could have never made like I was - or with certain people.

On the other... I want to make my home better. I want to prove to everybody that I'm better. And I'm not comfortable here. I don't think I will ever be comfortable around witches, and what they're capable of, compared to monsters.

It doesn't sound so odd for people to be unsure of a place but worry about the people. It sounds almost normal but you're the first to say about not being comfortable here.

Suppose I am different a little: I cannot help but feel disconnected in this place. Like something feels...off. The only way I can describe it.

I miss the people there. I miss being able to explore the world.

It depends on where if I am honest. While there is a city I was born in, I consider a lot of the world as part of home and there are different kinds of people and cultures to consider.
