For those that knew Her Grace, Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, and the Breaker of Chains has been returned to her world.

It also appears that her loyal Queensguard, Ser Jorah Mormont, has followed her.

I am certain that both shall be dearly missed, but I believe perhaps the best way to honor their memory is to not allow those within the slums of this city to be forgotten.

I hope that those among Mirrorbound that are capable shall consider continuing her charitable works in her stead.

[He would tell her not to trouble herself, but he knows Chariot well enough that she will shut down any notion of it being of any inconvenience to herself. And besides that, even if the severance of his Bond with Dany is not as severe and drastic as it had been with Saber -- his remaining two Bonds providing an immediate balance that soothes some of the ache quicker than his first experience -- he must admit that it is not a feeling he wishes to sit with and dwell upon. Certainly not alone.]

I have no intention of tending to the cafe for the week. The staff are capable of managing until the sphinxes need to be summoned once again.

I'll visit you this evening, then. Is there anything you want me to bring you? Don't worry about imposition, just name it and I'll deliver it.

[And he means that sincerely.]

[ And her company she'd have. At some point in the evening, she'd come calling at his door, knocking in a way that was always her own.

She hadn't come entirely empty handed, of course. She'd brought some wine. But besides that, it was still just her, as expected, and requested. ]

[With the cooling temperatures of autumn, Ramesses allows her inside first before greeting her with a kiss. For the most part, there seems to be little to nothing amiss with him. It is less of a brave face and more that he has kept himself well-occupied throughout the day. While the severance of the Bond doesn't vanish altogether with distraction, there is a difference between feeling its consistent presence and dwelling within it. Still, Chariot can likely tell that there's a certain air of fatigue lingering around Ramesses right now. Nothing physical or magical, but emotional. There have been a number of losses around him these days, and the loss of a Bond seems to be merely capping it off.]

I meant what I said, [he says, upon noticing the bottle of wine in her hand,] but this certainly does not hurt.

[And frankly, another reason he didn't ask that she bring wine is he assumed she would bring at least a bottle. If there was one thing that Ramesses had learned about the French in his time knowing Chariot, it's that the French shared a similar mindset to his own people and found wine to be the appropriate choice for every occasion. He takes the bottle from her to allow her to remove her outerwear. It's far from as chilly as it is outside within his mansion.]

[ Chariot let her glamour slip as soon as she was past the threshold. She'd been using it less and less, particularly since what happened at Dorchacht, but it felt even less appropriate to keep up given who she was with, and why she was there... ]

I figured we could either drink it, or let it be... either way, I plan on spending as much time with you as you'll allow me.

[ Well, nuts. She'd only met the woman twice, but Vex is sorry to read this. ]

If she is who I think she is, I knew her by exactly one of those names. I had no idea she had so many titles.

Is there any sort of permanent record within the city of the names of those who've been and gone?

I believe she fell into the habit of not using so many of them after a time out of a recognition that they perhaps did not mean much to others here. [Or it's because Ozymandias has never learned to trim any of his own that he got the full list. Royalty to royalty just be like that.] But I think it only fitting that her departure be announced with each of them.

To my knowledge, there is no such thing. But I imagine that individuals have maintained something in private.

[Ozymandias kept a room untouched in his mansion for a great deal of time until he was ready. He's placed a small memorial within one of the flower beds in the community garden. He keeps handmade clothes tucked safely away in his closet. A terrible made flower crown that has been carefully dried remains tucked away on a bookshelf. They may not be the great monuments he is used to constructing in his era, but they are something at the very least. An acknowledgment if nothing else.]

I can see that. Titles from home would carry little weight here. Which fucking sucks. [Having to regrind rep afresh after earning your place back home? Uuuuugh.] She seemed the kind of person who'd appreciate someone remembering her that way, though. It's good of you to share that.

Really? Not even a book of names? Could keep it in the mirror house and everything.

Seems wrong that those brought here might be forgotten once they return...Where ever it is they've gone.

I do not believe in abandoning one's titles. Others may lack the context to understand their full meaning, but it is no different than to find oneself within another kingdom. I am not less than who and what I am simply because I no longer stand upon the sands of Egypt. [But he is also speaking as someone who is not infrequently in another land and era altogether, whose very identity has made it so that is even possible.] I believe she appreciated that I considered the same to be true for her. And so I shall always speak of her as she truly was.

I agree that it is a great misfortune that others may be forgotten.[There are few things worse than that to someone like Ozymandias.] Particularly when it seems those returned to their worlds hold no recollection of having ever been here.

Perhaps you ought to consider beginning such an endeavor.

It is hard. One of mine, Corrin, recently departed as well, so I can empathize.

It is something that I find so unique to this world that it is without compare. At once one feels immense grief for the loss and yet there is often still profound joy in knowing that they have returned to where they truly belong.

I am likewise sorry to hear that you have recently experienced it for yourself.

[Her message is a little awkward and clumsy, but that seems to be the way with Sylvia. So, really, Ozymandias doesn't think much of it beyond it being very kind of her to express such a sentiment.]

Take whatever money you need from the register. You need not utilize your own personal funds for such things. You may take what is necessary for the expense and return the remainder to the register. Let me know what it amounts to and I shall document it in the books.

Also, take half of a week's wages for yourself this week in addition to your regular pay. Do not bother attempting to decline. [He will just sneak it into her pay when he's there to distribute it himself again.] You should be compensated for the extra duties you are taking on in my absence and I shall dismiss any reasons to the contrary as unnecessary modesty.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Her Grace and I had spoken, but we weren't at all close. Do you know if she left some apparatus behind for her work? [ was any kind of organization set up....... ]

She would speak to me of her work, but I cannot attest to her recordkeeping.

[With as...mistrusting as Daenerys could be toward Aefenglom, it would not surprise Ozymandias in the slightest if she wrote nothing down.]

It is my intention to travel to her farm before the end of this week to go through her belongings and to be certain that her landlady is well cared for.
