Hello, everyone! I'll try to make this brief, as typing on these things can be a bit of a pain. [ but god help her if she did anything that put her face out there to more people than she was comfortable with... ]

My name is Ursula Callistis, and back home I was a teacher. Now as I'm sure you've all noticed, or at least heard, refugees from Dorchacht have come into this city. Some of you have been volunteering to build their shelters, but I had noticed there was an un-assigned building, and I've sort of taken it over as a space for them, but not as living space.

You see, a lot of the refugees are kids. Orphans, even. And I am going to convert that space into a classroom. The Coven has already agreed to help me with supplies and costs, so there's no worries there, but while I am an experienced educator, I'm still only one woman.

So! That's where you all come in! I'm looking for some volunteers to help take up some of the class schedule. Just let me know if you have any experience, what basic subjects you're willing to teach, and we can go from there!

And, just so it's clear, I appreciate any help at all, even if you're not taking on a class subject. These kids are really depending on us. So. Thank you.

This sounds like a wonderful idea!

I'd be willing to help teach music. I already give lessons in the city, but I'd love to have a chance to help the refugees.

That sounds wonderful! What sort of instruments would you want for the kids? Though I suppose different monsters might struggle to play different tings.

This is really wonderful, I think it's a great idea.

As far as experience goes, I can't say I have any yet. But in the upcoming year, I would have been a teacher back home.

It would have basically been math for me, so if you need the assistance, I'd be more than happy to help.

You'd think as someone who regularly studies stars, my math skills would be better, but it's actually one of my weak points. I could definitely use help, there.

This is a really great thing you're doing.

I don't have any teaching experience, but I'll admit I've been looking into a job as a teacher at home. I went to a military academy and I have experience in that field, but I could probably teach history or literature. I'll just need a little help with the books.

The Coven is willing to loan me as much as they can! And the local schools might have some textbooks they can part with. They'll be a little older, but it should work out, right?

I'm going to need an assistant. My bonded aren't really the scholarly sorts.

The three volunteers above are friends of mine. We also run a type of organization-- The Bracer Guild-- that deals with requests like this and more. I'll politely ask on behalf of them that some of the funds you have for costs be considered a donation to the Guild for their services. Not much of course, just what you might be willing to spare. It'd help both of us continue with our desired projects.

I'm familiar with your organization, but the money's not really mine to donate. I'd feel a little guilty if it wasn't spent exclusively on the school itself.

I don’t have much experience with kids, but I can teach self-defense.

With everything that happened last month, it’s probably a good idea to teach the basics.

While I am grateful for your willingness to volunteer, I don't think that's necessarily an appropriate subject for a school like this.

Do you have experience with more general physical education?

I would be interested in helping, that is if you'll have me.

I don't intend anyone away who has time and inclination to help. What did you have in mind to offer?

I don't suppose these kids might be interested in an art class, would they?

Oh absolutely! The crayons and paper work well enough for the youngest kids, but the older ones definitely need something more creatively engaging, I think!

what is there to do to help besides teach? the thing i'm good at really doesn't make sense to do around here like it does back home

Well there's also organizing group activities and the like, stuff to help them feel engaged and build a sense of community amongst themselves. The conditions they lived in before were



well they were horrific.


and it's going to take some work to try and heal from that.

if youre planning on doing any like recess time or PE i could try supervising!
the little kiddos need exercise, right?

I do agree on that last point. Do you have background in physical education?

A good idea. I have been working more with the adults. What if they should also be interested?

They're all settling into a new home, away from a place that had been horrible for them, and recovering from Morgana distorting their memories. I don't really want to put more on their plate than they already have, you know?

Ozymandius and his crew have helped a lot in that regard, but help finding, purchasing, and moving supplies in would be helpful!

Children from situations like this need to feel safe and stable before anything. I think it's weird they will pay for supplies but not teachers. Tells you what their priorities are. I'm no educator, so I wouldn't have anything to offer regardless.

Best of luck, I guess. Hopefully it does more good than harm.

Thank you for your opinion. [ As polite as she could manage, given how anxious a response like that made her. She figured leaving it without response would probably be worse. ]
