[Kyo is used to transforming. He's the Cat of the zodiac and all, so he has two forms back home. The regular housecat and....well, his True Form. The reason he's both more calm over being called a monster and the reason he bristles at it, given that situation back home and all.

That is not to say that he isn't finding this frustrating all the same. Namely in regards to clothing with this being a more gradual transformation rather than just instant where he suddenly usually no longer fits into whatever he had been wearing with the zodiac curse back home.....]

....Dammit! This damned tail! So what, I'm just expected to rip holes into all my pants now? Not being the only one is debatable in this if that's comforting or more irritating in pissing me off.

[His life. He's finally free of the curse here and he is still. Turning into a cat anyway. Because of course he is. And then he winces, hissing briefly in pain when he nicks his lower lip with his fangs.]

Seriously though, there's probably some kind of tailor or something around, right? For....for people that are changing like this? Ah, right. And uh, introductions, I guess. Or whatever. I'm Kyo. Kyo Sohma.

[For those that he might not yet have run into or talked to. Introductions were only polite and all, so he should probably. Add his name in there somewhere at least, for this first time. Not that Tohru is around to remind him about that sort of thing but. Well, over time, she is rubbing off on him some, at least.]

So, take it to some tailor who knows how to alter clothes and won't kick me out for being one of these 'monsters'.

[Like he had said in the first place. He just has to find a tailor to take his clothes to be altered. Kyo might be able to do some basics in fixing rips or such from being to physical and all, but this sort of thing is probably a little more than that.]

For someone like you, yeah. [A tail newbie.] But it's pretty simple as far as alterations go. I fix all my clothes on my own instead of letting someone poke and prod and yank my tail.

[Seriously, this guy. He hopes Kyo's tail gets pricked by a needle.]

[Sure they could be fixed, be sewn back up again but still. Having to accommodate his tail is new and annoying.]

Is it really going to be that difficult for you?

[This time, Dylas' tone isn't condescending. He's trying to be a bit more understanding. He's had his fun being a little mean, and now it's time to seriously consider that maybe this poor kid is in need of some help.]

Look, I can more or less take care of myself with cooking and stuff. I'm more used to mending little tears in clothes from fights than dealing with this sort of alterations.

[It probably isn't really that hard. It isn't, in theory. He just doesn't want to accidentally ruin all his clothes in attempt to figure this somehow.]

Yeah. I guess. I've had a tail...for as long as I can remember, anyways. It's nothing new to me. I won't do it for you, though. I'll show you how to do it yourself instead.

[He's quiet for a moment, and then he carefully adds:]

Your tail's...all tails are pretty sensitive. You'll be glad you figured it out in the long run.

Showing me is fine. I just don't want to ruin my clothes with this. But yeah, I get that.

[That tails were sensitive. Given he has had one before. Not that he is telling anyone yet, or trying not to anyway.]

[Ugh. Dylas can't believe he just volunteered to spend time with a stranger over a magical watch. He must be getting soft.]

Might be better if you come to me. Though I'm not sure what sewing supplies we have, if any. I live with Mary, if that helps. I can give you the address if you need.

[The watch thing was odd, but Kyo figures it isn't so different from a phone? Just weird to think watches could do all this when back home they would just tell the time.]

Yeah. Alright. I can do that, it's not like I have anything better to do.

[Which is probably easier to work with than some others. In not being so large or....well, fluffy to deal with.]

[It's not meant to be a part of the conversation, no, Dylas only says that like he's thinking to himself. Truthfully, maybe Konoe would be better at helping, then, but at least Dylas is handy enough to fix things on his own.]

A cat's tail is probably easier to sew for than mine.

[A tail that is larger, fluffier? Might be more difficult.]

[Silence. Well, almost silence. Dylas is still alive and breathing on the other end. But he doesn't want to tell Kyo that he has a horse's tail. Why? Because there's absolutely nothing horselike about it as far as Dylas is concerned.

Except. It's a horse's tail, you know. Long, fluffy, swishes back and forth. He just has a complex about it. He's not a horse, dammit!]

Anyways, when should I come over?

[He's not avoiding the subject, nope.]

Hm? Oh. Well, I don't really have any particular plans at the moment to head out, so. Whenever?

I guess I'm not doing anything tomorrow. Just make sure you've got some pants for me to look at, and don't do anything to make it weird for me.

[Inviting Dylas into any house is a Mistake, but he'll probably be competent. Probably.]

[It isn't like Kyo has much if any other options at the moment. Short of trying to fix it himself and he isn't that confident with his basic sewing skills to try and not somehow make this worse.]
