I'd celebrate the new year with you all, but it's not the same, is it? Not all of us came though at the same time - some of us might have only spent half a year before this new dawn. Not that I celebrate the time. A year's a year, now isn't it? Just another date.

But you know. Thinking on that - it's weird, isn't it? Nobody new has come though for a while. There were those objects, and even some living things? But nobody else like us. Either something big is coming up, or the magic - or whatever - has gotten all it needs.

Either way is a little fucked up, but in different ways. Any of you got thoughts?

I suppose that depends on how much you trust the Coven. I don't particularly trust organizations like that to be entirely truthful, especially in times of crisis. There are plenty of reasons why they wouldn't share that sort of information with us, including simply that those records have been lost, buried, or destroyed.

I find it hard to believe that this is a brand new phenomenon, given the age and various peculiarities of the Looking Glass House. Perhaps your group was the first in modern history, but I find it hard to believe that it never happened before that point.

I don't trust the Coven either, mind you. Especially with all the chaos going on. They conveniently don't know about the magic which brought us here? Which causes the weird dreams? And they had a blind spot to the one place the magic dreams brought us?

Either they genuinely don't know (incompetence) or they're keeping it from us (potentially more ominous).

Anyway. Either way, I'd like to return to my original point. If the Coven's records are garbage, are the Mirrorbound keeping any? The numbers probably aren't the key to answering the question of "why" we've been brought here, but it might help with the "how".

I would need to ask if anybody was - I haven't been. There's been other things on my mind. Perhaps my bonded has? He's been poking into things, he'd remember those sort of things.

Fair enough. From what I've been told, there's been plenty of upheaval, personal and on a larger scale, to keep people preoccupied.
