I honestly haven't been using this blasted watch as much as perhaps I should have. It just never seemed important.

But I have received some advice from someone and I suppose I am now putting it into practice, despite my trepidation.

My bonded left or vanished early last month. Or the month before; I can't quite remember. I managed the last full moon well enough, but I know from experience that it's just going to get worse or at least more difficult. And more to the point, I'm feeling horrendously lonely as of late.

So I'm looking for friends and companions, I suppose, with the potential to eventually form a bond. Not the most romantic thing I've ever done, but this place isn't all that romantic to begin with, is it?

Still not used to this whole "mortal" thing, though.

I've been in your position before. It's not easy, especially when forming bonds with others is not second nature to you.

I will certainly look up this dragon - he sounds very accommodating, if nothing else, and rather kind to a monster searching for their own place in the world. And hopefully it will only be once and I can find a bond.

Man or woman, either is fine. Ideally with some degree of attractiveness. Outgoing is fine, but I can also coax some introverts out of their shells. Someone with an interesting sort of career or willing to go out and get their hands dirty. That sort of thing. People who are interested in adventure.

I'm not entirely sure. I haven't exactly kept track.

I'm not sure if this is a universal experience or not, but even a temporary Bond could serve to fill the emptiness for the duration that it lasts. It might be worth a try — and who knows? You might meet the one you're looking for.

That's the first time anyone has used the word 'accommodating' to describe him... but I suppose that is what he's being, isn't it? Most people wouldn't call him sympathetic, either, but what do they really know? Just don't take advantage of his rare gesture of goodwill and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Noted. 'Attractive' and 'interesting' are a bit subjective, but I think I have a good enough sense for what that might be. I'll keep an eye out.

A bit of an extra question regarding the body of your post, since I'm curious: if you're "mortal" now, were you some degree of "immortal" before?
