I honestly haven't been using this blasted watch as much as perhaps I should have. It just never seemed important.

But I have received some advice from someone and I suppose I am now putting it into practice, despite my trepidation.

My bonded left or vanished early last month. Or the month before; I can't quite remember. I managed the last full moon well enough, but I know from experience that it's just going to get worse or at least more difficult. And more to the point, I'm feeling horrendously lonely as of late.

So I'm looking for friends and companions, I suppose, with the potential to eventually form a bond. Not the most romantic thing I've ever done, but this place isn't all that romantic to begin with, is it?

Still not used to this whole "mortal" thing, though.

I've been in your position before. It's not easy, especially when forming bonds with others is not second nature to you.

Yes, it's a bit difficult. I don't really think about it that much and then, well, it's gone.

I'm a monster, I suppose. A faun. Does that help you at all?

You must have had your Bond for quite some time. My condolences. You never know what can happen. That is why I'm focusing on cultivating more than one Bond, just in case.

Yes. If I were a witch, I might have considered testing our compatibility further with the intent to Bond. I'm sorry, but it is probably in our best interest to focus primarily on seeking out witches.

And no, no, I understand. It's quite alright. I'll need to find another witch whom I feel comfortable with. Which is why I'm asking around now. I'd rather not have to spend another month tearing my own skin off...

Ah, that phantom pain. Unpleasant. I can point you in the direction of an apothecary with affordable prices and good products. They sell potions that can relieve the pain some.

And if you're in the neighborhood of the Coven and need a quicker pick-me-up, there is a slim chance the sick ward would be willing to offer you a palliative potion for this condition free of charge. But their supplies are limited, and thus, they can be rather stingy. If not, look for a black dragon boy with long hair in the infirmary. He might be feeling generous enough to hook you up just this once.

We Mirrorbound ought to look out for each other. Do you have any preferences as far as witches go? Personality, school of magic studied, appearance, anything of that sort to keep in mind?

I will certainly look up this dragon - he sounds very accommodating, if nothing else, and rather kind to a monster searching for their own place in the world. And hopefully it will only be once and I can find a bond.

Man or woman, either is fine. Ideally with some degree of attractiveness. Outgoing is fine, but I can also coax some introverts out of their shells. Someone with an interesting sort of career or willing to go out and get their hands dirty. That sort of thing. People who are interested in adventure.
