I don't have anything to advertise or promote right now. [He'll just toss that out there, in case this was the time of the month for that. All he's got are questions.]

I was looking around town. What's with the theaters around here? I heard they got banned? Is that for real? I started acting back home and I'm not abandoning it just because I ended up in a magic world.

How'd they even get banned?

maybe we should try to change the law?? put in a motion or something or start a strike!

That's what it sounds like when I've asked around.
We'd have to be employed somewhere before we could strike. Otherwise we're not really doing anything.
A motion's probably the best option. I don't know a lot about how the politics here work.

but we can just...do protests maybe? not like strikes, but just picketing! for the rights of the arts!!

i don't see why it wouldn't! just make some picket signs and stand in front of the coven. if you get enough people, maybe the entire town will know!

I could make some picket signs. I don't know how many people oppose it or who would be willing to come out.
