I don't have anything to advertise or promote right now. [He'll just toss that out there, in case this was the time of the month for that. All he's got are questions.]

I was looking around town. What's with the theaters around here? I heard they got banned? Is that for real? I started acting back home and I'm not abandoning it just because I ended up in a magic world.

How'd they even get banned?

It's a building or an outdoor area where plays and dramatic performances are performed.

I share your sentiment. I've been involved with theater all my life and then some. [ "and then some." ]

I only started actin' recently but I'm not givin' it up for anything. If you've been involved for that long, I'd appreciate any help you could give me.

Romeo and Julius, huh? [That is not the correct name of the original play, but it IS the name of the one their scriptwriter came up with.

There's a bit of a pause as he considers this question.]

I don't know. Did something go seriously wrong? Like... somebody exploded, maybe? I hear witches do that kind of thing. Maybe during a show? Maybe that soured things?

[ doesn't he know it. ] Well, as a seasoned opera composer, my recommendation is simply to sign up for the city's annual Aurora Musicalis show — as it seems that's the closest thing to theater Parliament is gracious enough to permit.

[ oh, is that it? is this where his strain of wise advice ends? of course not: drama is in the contract, after all. (amadeus, despite his history of loud and conspicuous shows of defying the theater ban, follows up with a private message.) ]

I do have some answers, but I must persist. Are you sure about this? It's very likely you'll get into serious trouble by being involved in theater here.

A fabulous answer! You might even be close to the truth... Emotions run high in the sphere of performance! And such strong emotions... could lead to something akin to an explosion. Not that I'm confirming anything.

That's pretty different from the stage.

[Though he's also not saying no to that either. It's just theater allows him to be somebody else for a few hours, embody a different person. Anybody else, as long as it's not himself. He's not going to get that from music.]

I was tryin' not to get involved with crime for my Director's sake, but... I think she'll understand these circumstances. [Mankai Company isn't here so he can't sully their good name.]

It's the version Spring Troupe did for their debut performance. [He's not going to follow that up with more information unless somebody asks about it. Mostly because he was completely un-involved with that particular show.]

Do I know what happened? To suggest that I do... would mean that I know more than Parliament's willing to tell, beautiful! All we know is about an "incident." And the city's awfully insistent on keeping our emotions in check, before allowing any form of expression. That's it!

That's what it sounds like when I've asked around.
We'd have to be employed somewhere before we could strike. Otherwise we're not really doing anything.
A motion's probably the best option. I don't know a lot about how the politics here work.

[On one hand this is super dramatic and excessive, but on the other hand Juza is a future theater major, so he just kind of accepts all of the theatrics. Nothing about this is weird except that the whole city's banned out theater.]

I wouldn't be breaking the law if theater wasn't a crime. I'm not just trying to break all the laws I can find.

it was about six years when I showed up and started asking around about it, so that'd make it about seven years now.
