I don't have anything to advertise or promote right now. [He'll just toss that out there, in case this was the time of the month for that. All he's got are questions.]

I was looking around town. What's with the theaters around here? I heard they got banned? Is that for real? I started acting back home and I'm not abandoning it just because I ended up in a magic world.

How'd they even get banned?

I guess birds don't usually have teeth, huh?
It was like a mild tooth ache and my fingers felt kind of weird.
But I wasn't incapacitated or anything.
Did the feathers hurt?

no i don't feel them too much
it doesn't seem too different from growing hair

the wings were the worst part
but i assume that counts for anything that big that suddenly starts growing on your body

If I'm turning into a bear, the claws and the teeth are the worst parts, right?
I don't think I'm going to grow a snout. Unless it's the full moon.

probably not
i don't have a beak either and i've been here for a really long time
so if it would show up at some point it probably already would have
maybe this place is slightly more merciful with our faces

If the fur doesn't hurt then...
Does transforming on the full moon hurt? Do you do that?

it hasn't happened to me
maybe since it'd be hard for me to get more half-bird half-human than i already am now
although i've grown talons before when i got really angry?
some people i know do transform though, they say it isn't exactly fun

You don't go feral? Or... whatever it is.
So emotions get tied into it too? I thought it was a gradual thing.
I'll start tracking what happens over the months.

i think it might have something to do with what kind of monster you are
or maybe it's even a personal thing
the feral thing where it feels like i'm not in control of my mind only happens when i get really emotional for me
so maybe try not getting too angry just in case

i was trying to think of people who could be giving you very strong feelings!!!

for some reason i can't imagine what kind of rival a guy like you would have though

He's an annoying guy who always picks fights with me.

are you saying you've never heard of the enemies to lovers trope before?

I'm aware of it. I'm also not interested.

well i mean if you're not interested in the trope i probably shouldn't tell you
but you know how that thing usually goes
you end up in the same place under dire circumstances
and slowly grow closer despite your arguments
and then oh no there's only one bed in this room we have to share whatever shall we do now!!

Are you a writer or something? I haven't run into any of that kind of thing before.
And there's a lot of beds in the city.

nope, i've just read a lot of those stories!!
believe me
there's always somehow a situation where there's only one bed
it'll sneak up on you when you least expect it

There are so many beds?
And a lot of people too.
If I had to share a bed, the guy I'm bonded to is definitely the better option.
