Ohh yes!! Hello darlings... My. So many of you, to bear audience to my post. Something's been on my mind for a few weeks now. And with so many questions on the network this month, why not conduct a survey of my own?

QUESTION: How many digits do you have on your hand? Fingers, thumbs, claws, fins, amorphous appendages. You name it, you count it! In as much detail as you'd like!!

Yes! I do. I've been Bonded to him since Feoveuer. Unlike you, he comes from a world completely different from my own.

We didn't exactly get along, at first. We still don't, on occasion... But I like that. It's exciting, talking to someone so different from me.

Simple. Enduring each other... That was part of a bet we had! A bet neither of us appear to be surrendering... Oh my. I guess we're both winners. Lucky us.

You'd be amazed at how much you come to learn and care about somebody when you fashion it into a challenge.

i always thought u had to like the person u bonded with
but actually it's good that that doesn't have to be the case
i know there are definitely ppl who have some really bad attitudes
so it's probably harder for them to get people to warm up to them
that they can actually bond with anyone and it can work out is great!

Those with bad attitudes just need someone to charm them into showing their likable dimensions! Trust me. But it would be a dismal circumstance... to be so sour, and un-Bonded because of it. We have a lot of testy characters among us, ripe for the picking! Or, Bonding.

However. If we failed to like each other, my Bonded and I... I don't think our Bond would last. So you're still right, darling. As I understand it... A Bond too strained by dislike will break. You don't want that.

The term they use is called "abolishing" a Bond, when it breaks by force. It leaves you feeling like your chest has been hollowed out. An ache that can't be filled by anything BUT a Bond... Not even an adoring idol could serve to fill that void! Like you're missing your own essence...

So I understand. Fortunately, it passes with time, should it happen.

[He's one of the lucky characters to know what that feels like without ever having severed a Bond at all. Any monster from his world would be.]

I had no Bonds. No Bonds, and steep demands for a Bondmate-to-be. He was a catch that I couldn't refuse... for as much as we disagree. That was a good reason to make the gamble.
