[Honestly, he just wished he had Jiraiya again. This wouldn't have been an issue! And Yu was refusing to come inside but he could still sense his presence at the moment so... he hadn't run off yet.

Whenever Elliot came by, there was definitely going to be a lot of blood on Yosuke's shirt. His arm was bandaged but it was obviously not holding it very well. His cheek was sliced as well, but the nail hadn't gone through but it still bled quite a bit. He made sure to stay seated as well, opting to just sit on the floor with a towel so he didn't get blood everywhere and because he'd lost enough already that he was getting woozy.]

[Elliot isn't too long. He's used to having to make quick house calls so he already has his bag and staff ready. So it's only a few minutes while he heads over and figures out which house before he arrives. He knocks on the door once, to be polite, before letting himself in.

Which when he sees Yosuke's state? His eyes widen a little because hey that's a lot of blood, but he doesn't panic because healers in an infirmary tend to see a lot of blood a lot. Instead he'll approach and kneel down on the floor near him, trying to get a close assessment of the injuries.]

Whoa, you really weren't kidding about saying mauled. [He opens up his bag, digging for the right supplies] What kind of monster was it? Er- I just need to know in case of venom.

[His upper arm was where the wounds were, obviously from claws. Four slashes somewhat diagonal but it was only by a miracle that it hadn't gone deep enough to the bone given the size of Yu's hands now.]

I-I don't think he's venomous... [Now it seemed everything was catching up to him when he had to say out loud just who did it.] Yu's a chimera and he changed a lot this time. B-But it was an accident! He didn't... I got too close and he was still... changing and he was in pain and I just wanted to help him. He really didn't mean to do it.

[Yu literally just wanted to hold him, that was it. He just had no way of knowing how strong he was at the time. Tears formed in his eyes because he could still feel Yu's guilt and he was pretty sure Yu was going to feel his own guilt over this whole thing.]

I-I bonded with partner to prevent this and... I just made a mess of things.

That isn't at all what I meant, dude. I just don't want him to feel like he has to keep away from me. [He's just tired now. And working on getting a salve on the wounds so they can heal better as he speaks.]

Been there, you'll get past it. Actual intention plays a big roll in moving forward. Kinda hard to continue blaming yourself when the yourself you know is changing. Make that clear to your bonded.

Wish I could, but he took off sometime last night. I think I can find him but he's making it clear he thinks it'll be better for me to keep away.
