[It's somewhere around mid-morning on full moon day when this post goes up, Momo doing his best to look somewhat professional-ish while obviously sitting himself half up in bed with his head resting on one curled hand. He looks extremely awake and restless like he's been wanting to get up for a while, but the suspiciously tentacle-looking charcoal grey thing barely in frame wrapped around his waist is probably a giveaway as to why he's having to make the post from this position.]

I've been thinking about this for a little while, but with everyone sharing information on here about stuff that's happened before some people arrived or what Monster changes to expect and so on, has anyone tried to get that kind of "relevant to everyone" information into one place? I was originally thinking about the collective dreams we kept having, since those seem to be important but it's kinda hard to get details on the ones that happened before you arrived unless you know who to ask. But I've also talked to certain Monsters who seem to have had real trouble researching their Monster type, and having a proper resource with changes or abilities that don't come up in books as often seems like it could be really useful for people going through that.

[As he talks, another tentacle creeps into frame and tries to poke at his face. Without even faltering in his speech, he pushes it right back out of frame with one red-nailed finger. And then flicks another one that barely even makes it past the edge of the frame before recoiling at the reprimand.]

So I'm wondering what people think about trying to put together more information in one collected place like that! I think it could really help some people out, but it'd take a lot of work to put together, so it'd be good to know whether there's interest in both having it and helping out with it. Especially with Monster details some people might not know until they meet someone who's gone through that change already, since that's probably a little easier to gather...like, if you're a Monster, what was the thing that surprised you most about your change? Or was there anything you couldn't find out about before it happened? That question goes for Witches living with Monsters if you got blindsided by something too!

[There's a sound of movement and a grumble that sounds something along the lines of "sleep", as a human arm with blue nails drapes itself over Momo's side. Momo turns his head with an all too sunny smile.]

Ah, darling, are you awake enough to let me out of bed now?

[Silence. Momo turns back to the Watch screen with a worryingly innocent grin that reveals his long canines.]

Well, I guess I'm answering from here...and you know, it's so much easier to have a conversation like this over video or audio call! Just make sure you speak up nice and loud, I think being stuck in bed this long has done something to my ears.

[He says that in a very deliberate, faux worried tone, winking as he mimes clearing his ear with a pinky. Sure, it's an actual serious inquiry, but might as well make a petty attempt at gaining freedom by making sleep impossible.]

Oh...Well, they are. [Have some extra bluntness.]

No. I already have something like that, it was the first part of my wings to grow... [The part that had caused the most clothing damage] This bit seems spikey too.

Spiky? [Momo sounds curious about that part.] I know there's some spiky bugs, though I can't think of a lot that have wings...if it's closer to your tailbone I guess it could be another body segment or something, but otherwise it might be distinctive to what you're turning into. There's some stick insects that are spiny? Or mantises, maybe...I think the little bugs that literally look like thorns have their wing coverings shaped like them, so you're probably not that.

It still seems to be growing out... [A sigh.] I guess I'll work out in a few days if they keep growing.

...This isn't helping you work everything out is it. [Because no one had mentioned anything about this to her.]

Not really, but it is kind of interesting. I don't know a lot of fae. [Not well, at least. Mikasa is definitely the first one that comes to mind.]

"They", though? I thought you meant it was just one thing growing earlier.

It's two of the same thing growing... [She huffs.] I think I've found more local fae than mirrorbound, and they can't describe the changes.

Two? [He takes a moment to consider that, and then:] ...Are you sure they're not limbs? I mean, arachne get eight legs, and octopus merrow get eight legs...bugs usually have six limbs, so it'd make sense for you to get an extra pair.

[As much sense as anything in this world makes to him.]

[Momo..........Why would you tell her this?

She needs a moment to think about her life. Not even trying to mask her unease as she spoke.]

...I've not seen any other fae with more arms or legs? [And yet, even she was doubting her own words.]

You did say they're pretty secretive, though, didn't you? So if another fae knew someone like that they might not have mentioned it. [Momo doesn't sound the most enamoured with the idea himself, because it sounds like it would be a hell of a time growing in extra limbs, but it's hard to ignore the chance.]

Maybe it's best not to worry about it until they've grown in more, though.

They were, I'd have noticed if I'd seen one though... [Which really didn't help.] They've grown enough for me to move them.

Secretive doesn't just mean they won't talk to you, though... [He's assuming that if fae are bad enough about trust she has trouble even finding information on them, they're not all necessarily lining up in public.]

How long are they now, then?

I know. But it's hard looking for someone who doesn't want to be found. [And from what Sowilo had said they'd had a good reason.]

About a foot? ...I keep leaning on them without realising. [They'd just prop her up on instinct.]

That was what I meant. You might not have seen them because they don't want to be found. [It wasn't so much about tracking them down as not having seen them not meaning they don't exist.

"About a foot" gets a pause before Momo responds again.] I really can't think of anything else a bug would be growing that's that big other than some kind of limb...especially since you already have wings. If you keep leaning on them then they're probably naturally suited to that.

Oh... [Well she knew they existed. It was just...they were a pain in the ass. To the point that they might as well not have existed.

Also oh at the limb comments. Because that made sense.

She hates it.]

...Do you want to swap?

[Mikasa...that wasn't even possible.]

[Momo laughs at that, and there's the sound of him patting something oddly textured. Like flesh, but more rubbery-sounding.]

Sorry, even if there was a way to swap I'd have to ask my darling before anyone else. He's not very big on all this tentacle stuff.

[Momo's not opposed to being a Monster because he feels like it would've been more accurate to him of the two choices, but if it was a conscious swap he'd absolutely be going to Yuki to propose it first.]

[She sighs, loud enough for him to hear on the other side. Intentionally.]

You sure? I thought you said those things were useful? [He hadn't said that, but they sounded useful from her basic description.]

He sleeps like some of my old roommates...

Hmm, I don't remember saying that, though? [Momo is calling her out on that one. Just sighing isn't enough to roll him over these days.

He laughs at Mikasa's summation of Yuki's sleeping habits, though.] I lived with him for a bit back in our world, he's always been like that. I guess being so sexy and talented all the time takes it out of a guy!

[Momo says that last sentence so theatrically it's obvious it's at least half a joke (...or only half a joke).]

For opening jars? [Still trying? Maybe. But then she needs a moment to recover from the brain fart his next comment.

Okay. She'd known they were a couple, and Momo had said things like this before. But with that comment...she's remembering. Remembering how she learnt Mettaton and Emet-Selch banged.

...Well done Momo. She now things you might be recording this after doing the do. Shameless, she'd be kinkshaming if she had the brainpower to do anything other than die inside at her 'realisation']

I...I thought you weren't before..? Because of your jobs? [The strange idol thing, that no matter how many times he'd explain she'd still not quite get.]

I can already open jars, though... [And it's not like he's ever likely to be inside a jar, unless he has a repeat of that basement transformation last month that made him tiny.

In any case, Mikasa's hesitance makes him think she might be embarrassed, so he can't help but poke a little fun.] Living together and dating are two different things, silly! We just lived together back then because we were broke, and then we got our own places when we could afford it. Though I still stayed over at Yuki's a ton! But here we don't have to worry about people expecting us not to be in a relationship, so why would we worry about living together again either?

[It's a shame she refused to use video. Had he seen her flat, judging stare enough times to be able know it was there even though he couldn't see her.

But she still hesitates. Not her best topic, and she was still unsure what to make of Mettaton's 'sex sent me to the ER' incident.]

And?.. you can only afford one bed?

[She was bad at these things, but there was cuddles happening. Even she wasn't that bad.]

[Momo's tone shifts to something a little bit exaggeratedly confused as he replies, because on one hand he knows Mikasa might be having trouble figuring things out with their comparative differences in experience. But on the other, he can't help but tease a bit.]

No? I have a spare bedroom, since Lio lives on the roof...have you never seen a couple sharing a bed before? We couldn't date back home, but there's nothing stopping us here, you know.

[He has a sneaking suspicion of what she's reading into this scenario, and he is...going to do absolutely nothing to disabuse her of that notion even if it's less accurate than he would like.]

A couple...So you are dating then. [Bruh...If this was in person she'd be shrugging. That had been what she'd been getting at.]

Did I not mention that...? We started a few days after Yuki arrived, so back at the end of that visiting circus type thing in Juril where the spell backfired.

[It's been about two months, and it somehow feels like both a longer and shorter time than that after so much ~~slow burn~~ buildup beforehand.]

I don't remember you saying that... [But then again. Yuki had arrived quite a while back now. But she sighs.] ...With how people are here, I'm not sure who is a couple and who isn't.

[Some people be near married, others be dating five people. But as long as they all knew.]

[In her defense, it was probably hard to tell either way considering how little Momo's terminology towards Yuki changed. Her follow-up gets a laugh out of him, though.]

Is this about people who are sleeping around and stuff against people who are committed, or are there some harems going on that I don't know about?

No... [It was a lot.] People talk about...that stuff a lot more here. But not the people. [It's a bit mumbly and awkward. People talked about sex and private things pretty often, she'd mentioned that before. But not the people...Something she was grateful for to some extent. Like, she didn't need to know that Mettaton fucked, but she did anyway.]

It was a lot easier back home. People talked about getting married there... [That made it a lot easier to know what was going on there. Shame Franz and Hannah...didn't live that long.]
