hi everyone, my name is sylvia and i'm here with an exciting opportunity!

the purramid cafe is looking for more employees! we've got positions open for baristas, managers, and...wait for it...sphinx handlers!! i mean, look at that kitty and how much it wants to be your friend. and guess what? you can totally befriend it and get paid for it at the same time! doesn't that sound like a dream job? ;D

if you're worried about not having any experience, i became a barista and i knew nothing about how to make drinks. but thanks to getting some top-notch training, i'm now a certified coffee connoisseur!

With sugar, [ she replies promptly and watches with focus, because, wow! the puca is a hardy one. ] oh, and how much is it?

[ It's not on the house, but Sylvia will pay for it. She wants to be as welcoming as possible...! ]

Go ahead and have a seat anywhere, it's a slow day today. I'll meet you at the table as soon as I'm done with your coffee, okay?

[ She gestures towards the seating area with her head, then turns around and starts pulling up the tools and dishes needed to make a sweet cup of coffee. ]

[chirpier]

Oh, I, that isn't— [ oh, no . . . that's so cute, she can't handle it. though yachi falters some about paying (or it being paid for), she eventually smiles with cheeks bright red, thanking the puca for her hospitality as she brings herself to the designated table for a short little wait. ] Thank you.

[ she's looking around in the mean time, and . . . ah yes, it's very cute. ]

Hey, I should be thanking you for your interest! Seriously, you're really helping us out by applying.

[ They've lost so many of the Mirrorbound crew that it's been hard to keep up with work sometimes. It happens, though; and a few minutes later, Sylvia heads over to the table with a cup of coffee for Yachi. ]

Here you go, I hope you like it!

[ It's got sugar in it, just as she requested. ]

Now... I've never really done an interview before, but I mostly just want to get to know you! Like... How long have you been here? And what do you think of Aefenglom so far?

[chirpier]

[ she'll take a sip, blowing at the top of the cup before doing so and—! toasty is the first word that comes to mind. ]

It's so good! I've—! [ she's about the ramble about it, but, questions first! she covers her mouth to contain her energy. ] Only a few weeks. I'd say it's . . . Overwhelming, but I'm adjusting the best I can. What about you, are you from here-?

It is at first, huh? You'll adjust though, promise -- at least somewhat.

[ Because Some Shit happens in Aefenglom that nobody's really prepared for, sometimes. ]

Aaaand nope! Planet earth, United States of America. That's where I'm from! I'm a Mirrorbound, too.

[chirpier]

Oh, from there! [ that's cool—! so cool. ] I'm from Japan, Miyagi Prefecture.

[ she doesn't know to what extent sylvia would know the regions, but she has an idea herself when it came to the US. ]

You must be here a while . . . [ she looked very. bunny. she grew all of that. ] What's it like?

Oh-! Japan, huh? I've always wanted to visit, that's awesome!

[ She wouldn't be the only person she's met here from Japan, too. ]

Hmm. If I can sum up Aefenglom in a nutshell... It's pretty unpredictable, I'll tell you that; but it's also got some of the best people in the Mirrorbound. I've met so many incredible people here! And learning about everyone's worlds is just really neat, too!

[ She is very enthusiastic about this! She loves being a Mirrorbound so much... ]

It sounds like a huge foreign exchange . . .

[ and she seems to be interested, bright eyes gleaming as she cradled her cup for the occasional sip. ]

I still don't think I can wrap worlds so easily around my head. [ she's immediately thinking scifi space travels. how do they even get that sort of technology? time loops and black holes??? ] The farthest Earth's gotten is by sight is— Kepler?

[stardustish]

Hah! Something like that, yeah.

[ Yachi's got a point, though: ] Yeah, Kepler! Kepler's the farthest for sure.

[ She sounds very confident about this, too. ]

But knowing that there're even more planets out there, maybe in entirely different universes -- kinda crazy, right? And we were only able to meet all these people because we were brought here.
