Good afternoon. I'm looking for a couple individuals for a future employment opportunity.
My name is Eli Dagwood and I am a toymaker, recently graduated from an apprentice position. To better situate myself in this new environment I would like to start a business, but I don't have the personality for running the front of the store. For that I'll need help. This is a paying position and you will be compensated a reasonable salary for your time.
Anyone I hire must:
1) Be willing to work customer service.
2) Be able to handle children at their worst.
3) Not have any issues with snakes or snake-like creatures.
No exceptions. If at least one applicant is capable of heavy lifting that would be optimal.
Please respond with any questions or interest.

One: What kind of toys are you going to make? Also, two! Do you have a pet snake, or are the toys going to have snakes, or are you a snake? U(•ㅅ•)U
Or a naga, sorry if it's rude to call nagas snakes.
[Oh, right, he should maybe clarify that he's not an applicant, just a child at their worst:]
I already have a job, but I can come shop there!

I put most of my effort into figures and puzzles, which covers a fairly large variety of items. I'm working with a couple of the locals to stock a few softer items. [Sewing isn't his specialty.]
I haven't gone through many changes yet but I will almost certainly become a naga in the next few months.

[Though he may be slightly biased, not being from quasi-Victorian times. His kingdom for a Gameboy, okay.]
Oh! Good luck! Changing's scary at first, but ["It gets easier" would leap past "breezy" to "dishonest," so he'll go with:] you stop noticing how weird it is after a little. Kinda. U ´꓃ ` U

[He hasn't been all that upset about this possibility yet. Maybe it will bother him more in the future, but at this point in time he's more curious than anything.]

But! If you need help finding stuff around the city, or if you need anything play-tested while you're getting set up, I can help out! I'm basically an expert by now. U(︶▽︶)U

I'm in the process of choosing an appropriate location and putting together enough of a stock to begin. I would like to have some employees when I open the doors.
I'm not wealthy. The pay will be about what you'd expect for someone selling toys.

Oh? Should I sit around and be broke and let my cat starve until you're ready?

I don't mind dealing with kids, but is there a costume or something? Kids at home told me my face's scary.
I can do any heavy lifting you need.

I hadn't planned on any costumes. Something would have to be custom made.
You would really prefer that?

no subject
Would you prefer a mask or a full body costume? The latter will be more complicated and the expense would have to be docked from your pay.

So you've continued to survive without a bodyguard.
no subject
Were you hoping for the position?
no subject
I'd suggest learning to take care of yourself.
no subject
I'd hope I wouldn't have need of a bodyguard anyway just selling toys.
no subject
All on the basis that there will be a demand for toys.

["Passionate" is a strong word and not really accurate.]
Is this not something you've experienced?

Were you interested in a job, Mr. Tailor?

Let me know if you open a candy store, though.
