Hey.
I don't have anything to advertise or promote right now. [He'll just toss that out there, in case this was the time of the month for that. All he's got are questions.]
I was looking around town. What's with the theaters around here? I heard they got banned? Is that for real? I started acting back home and I'm not abandoning it just because I ended up in a magic world.
How'd they even get banned?

And you were wanting to continue that here?
But that does not make any sense. I have seen one woman who has put on at least a couple of dramatic performances. Did you see her, too? She was at DiplomaTea's Valentine's Day celebration at one point. Though I think both times have been in places that I do not believe were theaters. Are you certain that they are banned?

I'd need to find other actors. It's hard to do plays with just one. At that point it's just a one man show and it's not really the same thing.
Huh? No, that's a different thing. She was singing, right?
A play is where a group of actors play characters from a script. Usually there's a scriptwriter who writes it for the theater, or you can use a popular script. Depending on the actors the delivery and tone of a play can be different, even if the material is the same.

Actors...people who act (do things). Play...might have a different meaning to the verb since it's also the noun the act is named. Characters...probably not text, but people in stories?? She hasn't really read fiction. From a script........must be a kind of story. Especially with scriptwriter following.
Her final conclusion is more or less a recitation of a story by multiple people, so. Not quite so far away as it used to be.]
So a play is different from a dramatic performance, and dramatic performances are allowed in Aefenglom, but plays are banned?
[To think it took this long for her to even get to this level of understanding of his problem.]

A play is a type of dramatic performance, but not all dramatic performances are plays. Plays are banned in Aefenglom, but not all dramatic performances are banned.
Does that make sense?

I am sorry, but I will not be able to help you answer such a question. I cannot imagine why such a recitation would be banned when the other dramatic performances as you described would be allowed. But thank you for answering my questions.

You're welcome.
