So, hi. I'm having a bit of a dilemma.

I had the lovely fortune of dying and rising as a vampire. Before you're taken aback by the prospect, no, I don't take blood from unwilling donors. (Damned if I wouldn't enjoy the thrill of the hunt if I could, though...) However, I'm not terribly fond of taking from a vial, either, except in emergencies. Even warmed up, it's just not as good. (Fellow vampires: is this a normal sentiment?)

Am I too picky? I don't know. My issue is that I'm currently down to one willing Witch donor, and I've been subsisting off vials for the times when she's not available. Suffice it to say, it's driving me crazy. Is there anyone out there who'd be willing to strike up a trade of some sort? I get a nip at your neck, and you get... well, one of a few options?

It doesn't appear to hurt if the intent is not to harm, so you needn't worry about it being unpleasant. And if you're really on the fence, hells, I'll go the extra malm and romance you in the process if it damn well helps! I also do various crafts, so if you need something made or customized, I can do that in exchange.

Look, I know how stupid this all sounds, but I don't want to overtax my Bond partner any further, and I thought maybe the outreach would help. As intimidating as it seems, I promise it's not a huge ordeal. Please? Hash something out with me?

And while I'm here, an additional question: is it realistic to think non-vampires might frequent the vampire bar in town to get their rocks off on an odd fetish? Just... curious.

What kind of things can you craft?

Well, I primarily do smithy work and some sewing and knitting, but I've dabbled in a handful of other areas as well. Jewelry and leatherworking... things like that.

Do you need something specific?

Hmmm, I'm not sure if you can accommodate all the things I was thinking of but, I need some throwing knives made, and maybe something a little special.

Oh and I should probably warn you that I'm a witch that's been unbonded for almost three months so, I dunno, does that matter to a vamprire? I heard that witch blood is addictive to monsters so mine might be extra potent???? Maybe?????

I can certainly try. Throwing knives are simple; hit me with the rest and I'll let you know if it's within my scope of skill.

Unbonded for three months? That probably does matter, yes... I've been told the same, that Witch's blood has addictive properties to vampires. Then again, you need multiple things, riiiiight? Mayhap we'll need to do this in more than one go?

Still, you should probably get on that. I'm told staying unbonded is as dangerous for Witches as it is for Monsters.

The other are still throwing knives but, I was hoping they could also function as syringes too. Something I could lob at targets and inject them with poison.

You mean like darts...? Forgive my asking, but what in the world do you need to use those for? If it were tranquilizer, I'd understand, but poison?

I'll need darts too but yes, dart like knives that I can fill with poison. Non-lethal, things like paralyzing or numbing poisons, tranquilizers as well. Their antidotes too.

As for what I intend to use them for, it's for quests. The recent quest I went one had me thinking I'll need some kind of projectile, but with the addition of different kinds of monsters - and different kinds of physiology - sometimes darts won't work. Hence I thought something with a bit more oomph would it. Of course I'll have to test it out but asking for volunteers doesn't sound right in this case.

There are a plethora of such brews out there already, so I doubt I will have to look far to obtain either the varied poisons themselves or directions on how to make them. But the actual knives... that's a tough one.

[One she may have to borrow a bit from animal physiology to fill. It's not like she can put a tranquilizer dart in a knife and expect it to work out the same way. Plus, there's the matter of aerodynamics, and how having too big of a chamber will just weigh them down...]

I also find myself hesitant because this is an order for more than just self-defense purposes. I don't want to fill it and be told suddenly I'm enabling an unstable nut using them for the wrong reasons. Not to be accusatory, of course, but I would also like to cover my arse in case of extenuating circumstances.

...I believe I may have to draft up a proper contract for this one.

If the latter is too complicated an order, and I'll admit it kinda is, then the regular throwing knives will do.

If you're comfortable with it, I think that will work. I should limit how much I take if you're so loaded up on magic, though... I'm a bit nervous to find out just how easy a rabbit hole it is to fall down.

How many do you need? They're pretty quick to turn out, so I can probably manage a bunch if you don't have some magical mechanism for returning them to you.

I bought a couple of sheathes that can hold six so twelve for now. Although to be honest, I think we'll have to see if you can even take my blood first. Wouldn't be fair if you made me something but got nothing out of it, right?

The reason we have all the refugees from Dorchacht that are here now. Their Monsters city were kept under enchantment and binding spells by the Witches to control them, and the Mirrorbound did not take that too kindly.

but yeah. old teammate of mine was a vampire before he disappeared from here and it was kinda the same for him. got pretty riled up when taking blood. so i don't think its uncommon to wanna lay the people your drinking from.

yeah it ain't just you. it probably aint every vampire either, but i'm sure a bunchve them feel the same way. i didn't ask him a lot about it, but like you said, its a pretty close physical thing.

Witch blood has that magical property that makes it taste fantastic. Monster and human blood can sustain us, too, I believe, but therein lies the addictive quality. Or so I've heard.

I'm sure there's some basic difference between the three beyond the magical charge, but it may depend on the monster type, too. Like, a turnskin and a fae are probably going to have really different types, and perhaps different tastes as well... not that I've tried both to be able to tell you for certain yet.
