I only accept that kind of affection from my Bonded and those closest to me. Otherwise, I'm not interested in being petted. It feels demeaning to be treated that way, especially in my smaller form...If I'm interested in being petted, I will seek it out as I see fit. Politeness doesn't matter to me.
